Happy Day Restaurant Bar Strategy Concept

The other day I was reading through our local newspaper, and one of the local bars and eateries had an interesting advertisement. The very popular watering hole and brunch restaurant claimed to have the; “Longest Happy Hour in the City – 12 Hours!” Indeed, I laughed, because I was reading the newspaper at Starbucks and talking to an acquaintance who I’d just met. And then I said that’s not a happy hour; “that’s a happy day,” and what an excellent restaurant bar strategy to bring in more clientele.

Being curious about the success of such a strategy, and the fact that it seemed brilliant to me, I decided to cruise by and check it out. No, I’m not really a big drinker, nor do I want to sit for 12 hours and go on a drinking binge even if the prices are super low, but my interest was in whether or not this strategy was working for them. It turns out it was, and the place was packed with no seats available. It’s just as well, as I had work to do, and I didn’t feel like taking the day off.

The Dual Benefits of Marketing Automation for B2B Lead Generation

Many of those who consider using marketing automation and demand generation software first think about its applications for cost-cutting. Automated marketing packages can make light and easy work of a project that could tie up a staggering amount of man-hours if it was done by hand. This makes these systems very attractive to managers or small business owners who have had to let employees go during the current economic climate. Even those enterprises which have not needed to cut their wage bill may desire to use automated marketing so that valuable employee time can be used more efficiently and staff freed up to work on growing or consolidating the business.

However, automated marketing is not simply a tool that is used to replace personal attention; it is a valuable tool in its own right that gives particular benefits over and above that which can be gained from individual workers. Marketing automation allows a wide net to be cast in B2B lead generation through demand generation and email marketing. Generally speaking, the more contacts that are made, the more leads that are generated and the more leads that are converted to sales. This is not all that marketing automation is about; it is more than simply a automatic email-shot to a contact list. This kind of software also allows automation of responses based on the replies that customers send and integration of email marketing with the business’s entire online marketing strategy.

Starting an Event Planning Business – The Importance of Having an Event Plan

It really does not matter how many event planning tips you read on or watch online, if you do not know how to make use of the tips, then it would just mean you won’t do well in the planning. Knowing how to use all the tips and apply them is the most useful tool you can have for any event planning. This is one event planning tip which is almost never even written about for it really depends on the planner how they plan out and how they execute their plans.

For the beginner, thinking of making a list of how to go about with the plans seems tedious, but this is a very common thing for the more experienced event planners. They make notes, lots of notes. They list down details so they never forget, they record the conversations they have with their clients, they cut out clippings to help them formulate their plans, and they even make sketches.

Some of the planner will make their detailed plans on paper, some would do it on their PDAs, but one thing in common – they all make notes. These are the notes which they can access even if it is in the middle of the night and a difficult client changes their mind yet again. Keeping the plans concrete can only be done with a good and well detailed list.

Trusted Authority – Why You Need Clarity and Commitment

Being committed to a goal means more than keeping it in mind. It means being committed to doing what it takes to get there and to improving what you have to improve to help yourself along the way. There are something’s you can do to determine whether or not you’re on the right path and, if you’re not, to correct that so that you multiply your success.

Your Situation

Part of being committed to achieving a goal is making an accurate self-assessment. If you’re committed to being the trusted authority but you’re not there yet, you have to figure out why that is the case. Maybe you haven’t been in business that long and that, of course, may be part of the reason, but it can also become an excuse.

If you take a look at Richard Branson, you’ll see someone who is widely regarded as the authority in airlines. Remember that this is a field that, more often than not, has been marked by raging failures more than it has by inspiring success stories. Branson, however, became the authority by showing that he knew how to make an airline work. His passengers are happy, he’s happy and people who have invested in his companies are most certainly happy. This makes him a trusted authority.
