Being a restaurateur in the current economic climate isn’t easy. There remains a dearth of disposable income for many people, meaning eating out is not an option they can turn to very often. With a smaller pool of dining customers, restaurants need to be at the top of their game to attract them. Here are 10 ways you can attract more customers to your establishment.
1. Incentives are a great way of attracting customers, especially during these difficult financial times. People don’t necessarily want to stop dining out, they simply can’t afford it. By providing discounts and special offers, you may be able to entice them to visit. However, be wary of discounting too frequently or by too big an amount as this could devalue your brand.
2. Advertising is another useful option, especially if awareness is a problem or you wish to promote the aforementioned discounts. Think about where your prospective customers are and what media they consume in order to identify where your advertising budget can be best spent.

In house lead generation can often prove to be a difficult system to effectively set up, plus it can be quite costly as you find the right rhythms and approach that will be successful for your organization in the long term. Building a useable list of contacts that are able to provide high quality and actionable leads for your sales team can prove extremely difficult. Outsourcing to a third party service provider can be more effective and cost efficient, especially for those who are new to the game and need an instant return on their investments to push forward and grow as a business.
All companies need to generate new B2B leads and many do it through telemarketing as the easiest and cheapest staffing option. It is not always successful and if you do not have the means to effectively produce the results yourself then why not take the option of a third party provider who has expertise in this so crucial field. You have to be in a position to retain as many of your prospects as possible, both with that initial sale and retaining them as a longer term client. By using a company that can provide you with detailed analysis of prospects they have acquired on your behalf you will be surer of gaining a positive response once you make contact.

If you are considering starting a business or have just done it you really have to spend some time thinking about your financial records. Without a well organised system you will soon be overwhelmed by paperwork, bills from suppliers, invoices to customers and all the regulatory bodies.
If you put it off as not essential and think you’ll do it in a few months you will regret it. There will be a mass of papers to sort through, lots of them undated and difficult to marry up.
The main decision you have to make is whether to use a purely paper based system or use a business accounting package. They each have pros and cons and ultimately it depends on how big you expect your business to become.
Regardless of your decision there are basics you must do. Keep track of invoices from suppliers by simply filing them when they arrive. Keep them in date order. Make a note of the date, amount and when they are due.
Equally invoices to your customers should be treated the same way. Number them sequentially and file them in order. You need to keep track of your sales. As they are paid and the money reaches your account note down invoice number and write paid on the invoice! It really can be that simple.

Karate studios must compete against other activities as well as competing for the limited time of children and parents’, so building recognition for your studio and the benefits of studying karate is crucial. It is important that your karate studio stand out against competition and motivate interest. One of the most effective and budget-friendly ways to promote your karate studio and increase student registration is to add visible signs. Business signs are a highly effective approach and have proven to be successful. Here are some options for karate studio signs that can help to increase enrollment:
Attractive Windows
The front of your martial arts studio is one of the best areas to add attractive signage that can attract students. Use the studio windows to build community interest and emphasize what your martial arts studio has to offer. If your business-front and practice rooms are covered in windows, this is the perfect opportunity to install one-way vision signs that emphasize what your studio offers. Full color marketing images can fully cover the windows while still keeping visibility and outside light. One way vision is 40% perforated allowing for the material to look solid form the outside, but remain invisible from inside. Create a full martial-arts scene to attract children or create a design that represents discipline to motivate parents. For smaller window graphics, consider adding your dojo emblem or listing your classes using vinyl decals. They can be custom to shape or you can use the colored background to emphasize your text. List your training services like self-defense, kids’ classes, and an after-school program. For more temporary signs, like announcing competition dates or enrollment specials, window clings are a great investment. They are easy to install, remove, and reuse.

With so many options for making money online, I get people asking me why network marketing? To be completely honest, there was a time when I would have asked the same question. I had been involved in a few different network marketing organizations and came out of them with similar results.
The first, very well-known company, that I was involved with offered a ton of products, from vitamins to long distance phone service. I could buy furniture and even food if that was what I was interested in. With that company the marketing was very straightforward and…ineffective. The strategy was to make a list; you know the list with all of your friends and soon to be former friends on it?
To say the least, marketing to friends and family didn’t give me the desired results I was looking for. If anything, things were much worse! After 8 months I didn’t sponsor a soul and was told I just needed to grow more, read more. Thank God my upline sold the “grow more” material that I needed! Hm. Talk about a scam!
