I think everyone at one time or another had this romantic dream of opening a restaurant. Most probably you have seen some restaurant doing well or you have a great recipe that is handed down from grandma. Or you might have that perfect spot for that ideal cafĂ©. Having worked in the Food and Beverage industry for almost two decades I naturally like anything that is related to this line of work so much so that my other half jokes, that the food industry is my first love. I often see beautiful restaurants open with good food, only to see them close down in a few months time. I see owners hiring great Chefs but the reality is food is only about 20% of the restaurant success. Also good or famous chefs are expensive and temperamental thinking the whole restaurant revolves around them. I had one such chef but no customers were coming to dine. The restaurant was in the red, so much so that the owners threaten to close it down. After doing some promotional activities, the customers got to know us then they started coming in. Then only did they find out how good our chef was. There was one study done by the Ohio State University stating that up to 60% of restaurant failed with in three years. Advertising alone doesn’t help cause there are millions of restaurant mushrooming. Don’t get me wrong I love this industry, I love the challenge of bringing in business. I love meeting people, seeing the result of a successful promotional activity but what I mean is in order to succeed you have to constantly come out with new marketing ideas to bring in the customer. Remember the customer is the life and blood of any restaurant.

The best parties are those that seem unplanned and bring together different elements of fun loving people, the perfect location, cheap alcohol and non-alcoholic alternatives and of course the best possible music. In the world of dance music there have often been mass gatherings known as illegal raves. There are ways to replicate this feeling within legal means, procuring the use of a large space of land and ensure that you run an event as smoothly as possible and invite the right people.
Promoting techniques were pushed onwards and upwards past the perceived boundaries during the early 2000s as the use of the World Wide Web multiplied by millions. Artists, record labels and event planners suddenly had an outlet to promote themselves for free. Find the right website and the right selling point and you were away. This was also the case for planners of parties as you could now pinpoint an exact group of people to invite to huge events. Combination vending machines are merely a vending machine that serves drinks as well as snacks or candy. Typically, snacks and drinks are sold in separate machines. Using two pieces of equipment increases not only electricity costs, but lost profits, too, as the extra space could be used for another piece of equipment to sell more products.
A combo as they are called is generally smaller and uses less electricity. They’re very convenient for vending operators because of their dual capability and can be located in the same locations for snack and soda vending machines, which a vending machine locator can obtain for you.
If you’re a vendor and looking to increase your profits, then investing in a modern, hi-tech combo is something you’ll want to think about.
Newer models take credit cards, opening your machine to a pool of customers who don’t like to use cash and those who just don’t have cash on them at that certain time. You can increase your sales with credit card users because their overall sale won’t be limited to the amount of cash they have on hand.
